About
Brightwater Orchestration sits between a merchant and several acquirers. Cards are vaulted once, in a PCI DSS-compliant token vault the merchant controls, and each transaction is routed according to rules on cost, approval rate and geography.
When an authorization fails with a retryable decline code, Brightwater can retry with a different acquirer or with a network token instead of the raw PAN, respecting scheme rules on retry limits for recurring payments. Merchants see approval-rate lift attributed to each rule.
